Open for Submissions! 

We are a non-yaoi traditional pairings site that is a close affiliate of Blissful Ignorance and Alternatives.  The three sites have joined together to offer you the best Gundam Wing content on the web.  There may be a bit of confusion as to what exactly is 'going on' with those crazy authors/webmasters over at Blissful, so let me try to explain....

Blissful Ignorance is going to be a primarily invitation site for Heero and Relena fics.  There are numerous reasons for this, but the main motivations were to 

1) Offer great fics we have read but are currently missing from our site.  Since these authors are not submitting, we have to go after their stories in order to bring them to you.

2) Update more often.  

In order to be able to send out invitations to these missing authors, as well as keep up with writing our own stories, AND update the site more often, we're going to have to be more selective about which stories we post.  

But Rose, being more selective means more screening and means more work...

Ah yes...

But the division of labor we have currently is a bit unbalanced between the 6 staff members.  It is our intention that we will empower our betareader panel to read all submissions for BI, while we will assign another staff member to send out invitations. 

This will free up some time for Katana, Sphinx, and myself to update more often.  The only problem we had was the thought of rejecting fics - we certainly don't want to sound like we are discouraging anyone from writing.  We do NOT ever want to do that....

So we decided that we could open up new opportunities for our authors by launching a Traditional Pairings site and offering affiliation status to Sphinx's website Alternatives.

Since the BI staff prefers to think of Blissful as a place for romantic Heero and Relena fics, we are going to make it such and start moving content from Blissful to the Believe Your Love site that does not currently meet the new guidelines for submissions at BI. 

This does not in any way suggest that the stories are 'bad' or not as good as the ones on BI - certainly not.  But there are, for example, some multiple pairing fics that are currently not being enjoyed to their fullest potential because they are labeled as a Heero and Relena fic, but don't really focus just on them.  To place such a fic on Believe Your Love under the Multiple Pairing section would be a more accurate designation, and then people - MORE people (because, *gasp* not everyone is a Heero and Relena fan) - could enjoy those fics knowing that other pairings are being delved into.  ^__^ 

(This is, of course, just one example of why we may be moving fics to the new site)

The affiliation status of Believe Your Love and Alternatives also gives authors that post on BI who write other pairings the opportunity to post MORE of their fics with us, and can possibly open the doors to receiving Heero and Relena submissions from some writers who currently don't visit BI because they primarily write other traditional and alternative pairings.   

All in all, this equates to:

More fics, more content, more often.  What could be wrong with that?

We will be posting submissions guidelines for Believe Your Love very soon, as well as updating the new submission guidelines at BI.  YES, we still want people to submit Heero and Relena stories to us - if the stories do not meet the guidelines at BI, but meet the guidelines at Believe Your Love, we will be happy to post the story on Believe Your Love under the appropriate section, or let the author work with our betareader panel to revise it into compliance.

We apologize for any confusion during this time of restructuring, but we promise that we have one more announcement coming your way in the next couple of weeks or so that we're really excited about and will hopefully dull any pain we may have inadvertently caused.
