Warnings: There mights be lemons in the future but that is a HUGE might.
Genre: Romance/comedy
summery: . A new ESUN project has her tripping over paper work while Heero lives a peaceful life at home. The only time they see each other is at breakfast just to say good-bye. Relena, now in a despreate fight to say their relationship, turns to the place where it all began. The tiny cabin in the moutains and the woman that lives there. This time, Relena is the one pouring the tea and Heero is found stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Playing House: Tea Time
I was exhausted. No, I was exhausted a week ago. Now I’m just a lump of raw, red meat walking around with two legs and grinning like a mad idiot to the cameras. In other words, I’m still a politician. To even be more accurate in this "political correct" world of ours, I am still a very unhappy politician.
Perfect candidate for prozac? Me.
Relena Peacecraft Yuy. Flows nicely, doesn't it? I spend hours in front of the mirror saying it in every accent there is in hopes to make myself laugh. Y
Yes, I do have friends. Don't even think it.
Work, as usual, has me tied up with a new project. Currently ESUN had found new technology to advance the artificial weather on L2. The cost is above our average rate and the need wasn’t a priority. Two cons and no pros other than more realistic temperature change and a fresh smell of rain. They even thought there might be a possibility of some wind.
Oh dear my, isn’t that just wonderful?
Come on now, everyone smile, we get more rain.
Can’t that money go for building funds to ex-veterans who live on the streets, unemployed? Let’s see here, better artificial rain, or giving a life a meaning? Gee, I just don’t know. Even though it seemed like a no brainier to me, every other stuck up Ambassador believes artificial weather might improve the lives of many.
Right.
Sure.
Whatever.
I looked at my watched. It’s one o clock in the morning. I’m just now getting home. Great. Heero is probably asleep as usual. This was life for us. I came home, he was already in bed, I ate very little or nothing and got into bed, crying myself to sleep. I thought about quitting my job, if I could, but Heero objected. He said I was still needed, I needed to look past my own needs and see the needs of humanity.
In the end he was right, as usual.
Heero is always right. I learned that the hard way. How? Who wants to be a Millionaire. I, in all of my glory, was the queen of that game. Duo and I would wait every Friday to see the new episode and then test our abilities against the TV and more importantly, against each other. I’m a girl so of course I won. However, when Heero said ‘I do’ at the alter and began watching TV on Friday nights with Duo and I.....I was no longer the queen and master of the game.
Only advisor if the least.
But did I ever say anything to Heero about perhaps keeping his mouth shut so I can show off for Duo? No. Instead I folded my hands in my lap awkwardly while nibbling on the same piece of popcorn for a least an hour. That, my dear friends, takes talent.
I was just so sick of pretending.
Pretending. Huh, Heero and I have quite the history of pretendence. Right now our marriage is almost a title only. What little time we see each other is spent talking about future plans or current work status. The last time he kissed me was a couple of weeks ago. The last time we made love was long enough ago I don’t remember how.
Duo said not to sweat it. It was liking a bike.
Damn it. I never learned how to ride a bike. I’m done for.

Authors Notes:: hey everyone, I'm still alive. It's only been half a year from any activity from me, but hey, that's NOT the point. I'm working on some other stories right now but while I'm working out some knots I'm doing a sequal to playing house. Again, if you haven't read the first story do no read the sequal. It WON'T make any sense. I promise you.
I would love some feedback. (My favorite thing in the world other than Austin Power and Health Bars is getting email.)
So, everyone have a good day! And happy LATE thanksgiving!
